Don't buy goods and services from the USA if you can avoid it.
What can you do about a war crazed madman who has access to huge stocks of weapons of mass destruction?For a start, you can stop funding his weapons programme. Profits from US corporations eventually help finance US arms expenditure (which is more than the rest of the world put together spends on weapons).
Look carefully at where goods come from when you buy them. Are those apples from the USA? Are those trousers made by Gap?
Resources to help you boycott US goods and services
An organisation called B.A.G.S (Boycott American Goods and Services) distributed a list of US brands in January 2003 which we posted here. This was inaccurately reported worldwide as our document. After being told of some inaccuracies in the list, we emailed BAGS asking for an updated list and took the document down. BAGS (b_a_g_s@hotmail.com) seems to have temporarily disappeared and now lots of people are searching our website for this document. So we have reposted a version with the proviso that we did not originate this document, can't vouch for its complete accuracy, but will remove brands from it that are inaccurately described as US owned if we are notified.
