The Green Party wants a healthy and sustainable Milton Keynes, economically, socially and environmentally. That includes decent housing, well equipped local schools, and clean safe streets.Greens want:
- affordable housing for everyone.
- more traffic calming on residential streets and 20mph zones near schools
- better bus and train services to reduce dependence on cars.
- more say for local people in planning matters.
- to revitalise the old town centres
- smaller school class sizes and more nursery places
